Why I love going to class

I enjoy going to class because I want to be held. I want to be guided to practice things that I may not include in my home practice. I love being able to be in the moment, with my breath, not planning my next move.

The lifelong learner in me loves the invitation to get curious about the outer edge of my right foot, or the space between my shoulder blades. This invitation, to place my attention on my body, brings me to presence and provides a gift for my nervous system to rest in the moment. These moments of presence provide a foundation for connection, peace and clarity.

I would like to hold space for you. This is for anyone that wants to be held in their practice. Whether you already have a home practice, or not, whether you practice elsewhere, or not. I will weave yogic philosophy with modern living and we will practice asana, the yoga postures. We will also meditate, it’s okay to be afraid. We will do breathwork, nothing too crazy though, ha!
